ThingsezIsee'm Dance/Theater Mission Statement
ThingsezIsee'm Dance/Theater was founded to conceive and perform new works that challenge traditional notions of dance by infusing the methodologies of dance, music, theater and the visual arts. The developmental process is designed to form new concepts of modern dance technique, to enhance the vision and skill of collaborating artists, and to create and artistic product that redefines the connection between audience and performers. The company is equally committed to an educational component—teaching programs, lectures, and demonstration activities-that foster an understanding of and appreciation for new techniques among performers and traditional dance audiences, and to encourage new audiences to embrace the work. |
